I haven’t forgotten…

I haven’t forgotten about the writing competition that I promised you at 200 followers! (And as I’m now up to 202, I am definitely LATE) but I’ve been sorting out the prizes today and I can’t put the details of the competition on until that’s all done. Hopefully, it will appear tomorrow!

I’ve got a letter in this week’s Lady Magazine. Not sure why I sent it there actually because they only give ONE prize every issue and that’s for the star letter. My letter was just one of the also-rans. Hurrumph! I won’t make that mistake again….!

I saw a lovely J.M Barrie quote today. It was actually on a cushion, in the window of a shop (I was pressing my face against the glass). I didn’t buy it. A cushion-with-words is the kind of ‘twee’ thing that is banned in our house (fair enough, I suppose) but I wanted to pass on the quote anyway. I reckon it could inspire a story…

The quote is quite true. Looking forward to seeing the new competition.x

  2. I agree with Jackie, you should ask all your blog friends to send you a quote cushion Helen:)))

Loved the quote, Helen. It really cheered me up. Thanks. Thanks for all the info too. Good wishes
